Why You Need a Personal Trainer
July 5, 2009

I became a personal trainer because I feel it is important for people who want to live a healthy life and exercise that they have proper form. Proper form leads to proper muscle development. Proper muscle development leads to more oxygenated blood, and on, and on, and on, thus creating a healthier body!
Ultimately, a properly educated trainer can assist an individual in accomplishing everything they want from their body in a safe, effective, and efficient way. It is through the correct application of those safety measures that a person can a live a long and healthy life, without injury!
A good trainer uses effective routines, and exercises to assist you in reaching whatever goals you have in the most efficient way possible. A stronger body, a leaner physique, more stamina, better balance, and proper movement patterns are only a fraction of the benefits one can attain from a properly educated trainer!
The Importance of Yoga

“the secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.”
Buddha (c. 563-c.483 BC) India
The practice of yoga has been around for thousands of years. It strengthens, tones, and elongates muscle fiber. It creates a healthy body and the foundation for a healthy life.
One of the primary benefits of yoga is extremely important in today’s hectic lifestyle. It assists in quieting the mind. It forces a student to focus, and aids in clearing the mind of all one is bombarded with on a daily basis.
It is also a very good supplement to a healthy exercise regimen. It has been my experience that it assists in tying all one’s training together, helping to create long, lean muscles. The simplicity of the movements, the focus on breathing properly, and the postural benefits never cease to amaze me!!
